This 1-day class focuses on introducing students to cake carving and basic cake structure with lots of techniques to learn. The techniques and structure used for this class can easily be transferred to a range of other sitting 3D cakes – like a teddy bear, mouse, horse, fox, dog or cat – the possibilities are endless!

Location and Getting Here
Sharon’s cake decorating studio is located in her home in Mascot, Sydney. The exact location will be given after booking as it’s a private address.
Mascot station is around a 15-20 minute walk away along Coward Street in good weather with no major slopes or hills.
Buses run along nearby streets but we’d recommend taking the train if you need to carry your cake back.
Uber is more reliable than taxis in our area especially if travelling a short distance.
We are a short drive from the airport but traffic can be heavy and classes can run overtime depending on various factors. Please take this into account if you need to book a flight. If you need a hotel recommendation please email us for more information.
If you are travelling, we may be able to offer assistance and pickup from the airport, local hotels, or the station. Please inquire before making any plans if you think this will be necessary as we cannot guarantee it in all cases.
