What is the price in my local currency?

If you add the product and check out, you should receive an estimate from Paypal before completing your purchase. Otherwise you can try a site like for the latest exchange rates. However your bank may use different rates or apply additional fees.

I didn't get a confirmation email

Please check your spam box and also confirm that your payment has completed fully. If you used Paypal it should be listed as a transaction, or it should be visible in you bank account. The download link is sent to the email address you entered, sometimes the wrong one is entered by mistake so email us if you need help.

My link expired!

For a number of reasons the download links will expire. You can email us to request a reset however we advise you to save the file in a safe place so you always have it available without delay.

The download doesn't work

We can't supply individual technical support but recommend trying the usual steps to resolve the issue: restart the device, try another device, ensure there is enough space on the device, ensure the download is finished before opening the file, and use a more reliable or faster internet connection (such as WiFi instead of mobile data).

How do I save the PDF on my iPod/iPad/iPhone?

You can try to open the file in iBooks, after which there should be an option to save it locally.

Are there cheaper shipping options?

Shipping from Australia to most countries is quite expensive. In some cases there may be a store closer to you that stocks the item you want, check the product description for details.

How long until my order arrives?

For physical items please allow sufficient time as shipping from Australia can be quite slow. Within Australia 7-10 business days should be enough, while 12-25 business days is typical for other parts of the world. Please be patient but contact us if you have waited this long for your order and not received it.

Can I have a tracking number?

We don't send these by default but we can retrieve them on request, it can take a couple of days since it is a manual process.

Can you send me a list of all your classes?

Please visit the 'class' tab on our website and click on the type of class you'd like. You'll then see a list of all our classes. To see more details like the dates and times, simply click on the 'book' button. Unfortunately, we do not have a document with all our classes to email you as new classes get added all the time.

I can't seem to see any dates/times/costs for your classes?

Please click on the 'book' button to see all those details. If there is no date/time/cost listed this means that that class is not scheduled in at the moment.

Do I need to bring anything with me to the class?

Just yourself and a camera if you wish. Everything else is provided - this includes aprons and the box for you to take the cake/ cupcakes home in.

What should I wear to class?

Please wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes. The classroom is kept cold, so you may also want to consider bringing a light cardigan.

I'm a beginner and have not done any decorating before. Which class would you recommend?

If a class is suitable for beginners, it will say so in the description. In general any of our cupcake classes are suitable as well as our level 1 cake class. If you are unsure, please give us a call.

When and where are your private classes held?

Private classes are catered to suit you but generally they are held during the weekdays. They are usually held at our Mascot location or we can also come to you.

Can you please tell me when your next 'Level 1 cake' class will be held?

The best way to get up to date information on new classes and dates is to join our mailing list.

Your website says that a particular class is full, is it possible for you to open one extra space for me?

Unfortunately no. Our classes have a maximum number of students so that we can give everyone enough attention. Adding another person is just not fair to everyone, including you.

There are no class dates on the website that are suitable for me. But I really still want to attend a class.

In this instance the most suitable type of class for you would be a private class.

How much are the private classes?

Private classes start at $165 per hour (additional people are an extra $80 per hour) and as a guide a basic class requires at least 6 hours.

Can I pay by cheque?

At the moment we only accept online payment by credit card or PayPal.

Do you hold kids classes?

Unfortunately at the moment we don't offer kids classes.

Do you offer classes for hens nights or corporate events?

We don't cater for hens nights but are able to run corporate events at your own venue. Corporate events require a minimum of 15 people and also depends on our availability. Please email us for more information and a quote.

I would like to register for a class, can I do it over the phone?

No, you will need to register online in order for your details to be entered into our database.

Can I come and see you to discuss my class requirements?

Unfortunately we do not hold in person consultations for our classes but would be happy to discuss your requirements over the phone.

Where are your classes held?

Currently our classes are held at Sharon's studio on Sutherland Sreet in Mascot, near Coward Street. It is around a 1.5km (20 minute) walk from Mascot station, or there are various bus routes nearby. Street parking is available in the area too.

I have signed up and paid for a class but did not receive any confirmation.

Class confirmation emails are all computer generated, so please check your spam mail. If you still have not received anything, please let us know and we will resend it.

I have signed up for a class and I can no longer attend, what should I do?

Please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend a class. If we have enough notice, usually we are able to resell your spot and offer you a refund minus any admin fees. Alternatively, you are also able to send someone in your place, but please do let us know. If we are not able to resell your spot or if you don't give us sufficient notice we are unable to offer any refunds.

Where are you located?

My creation studio is located in Mascot near the corner of Coward and Sutherland Streets. It is around a 1.5km (20 minute) walk from Mascot station, or there are various bus routes nearby. Street parking is available in the area too.

Do you have a shop for me to visit?

I do not have a store front and have recently restructured the business so I am no longer conducting consultations or tastings for cake orders. The studio is now only open when classes are being run.

Do you deliver or allow for pick up?

Yes to both. Pick ups don't cost any extra but delivery costs are based on location. Contact me for a quick quote. Please note that certain cakes, like those requiring on site assembly, can not be picked up and must be delivered.

What factors influence the cost of the cake?

The final price of the cake is determined by the amount of detail, number of hours that will go into creating the cake and the shape of the cake. There is minimum of $900 for all cakes and a minimum required serving size of 80 serves.

Why do I need to give you my budget?

If you are upfront about your budget, I'll be able to design something that will achieve what you want (visually) and also suits your budget. There is no point of me designing something you really like only to realise that is over your budget.

If you don't have a budget, or are unsure, that's fine too. I'm happy to design a range of creations with different budgets for you to choose from. However, please note the minimum costs and serving size of the cakes.

Do you offer cake tastings?

Being an online business we don't provide cake tastings or in person consultations. You are welcome to read the testimonials from our previous clients and can be ensured I will look after you from your initial email all the way up to the delivery of your cake.

Can I have a different cake flavour for each tier?

Of course you can!

How much notice do you need?

Due to the limited number of orders I take, I would recommend approx 2 months especially if I am designing something exclusive for you. Sketching and revising design concepts can take up to a week or two.

Please understand that due to my teaching commitments, I don't start consulting on orders more than 6 months in advance as my schedule could change.

Do you have other designs?

I am here to design a custom cake/cupcakes for you. So please don't feel like you are limited by what you see on my website. I love dreaming of new designs and would love to create something exclusive for you.

How does the whole creation process work?

If you already have one of my existing designs in mind, I'm happy to quote on that. If you want something designed exclusively, I'll usually work out all the details of the occasion/event and then offer some design ideas and rough pricing.

Once you decide you like the sound of those ideas, I prepare some sketches and final pricing for you. I require a 50% deposit to secure all orders and full payment one week before the event.

Do you offer cupcakes/ cake pops/ cookies or macarons?

At this time I do not offer any of the above. I am happy to accommodate them as part of a larger cake order or recommended some other sugar artists who specialise in those items.

Do you provide cake stands?

I have a range of cake stands which you can borrow at no extra cost for your event. There is a $150 deposit required for the stands which will be returned to you once you bring the stand back.

How big are your serving portions?

My cakes are generally made with coffee portions in mind and each serving is generally 2.5 x 2.5 x 8 cm high.

What makes a Sharon Wee creation so special?

I put a lot of care and detail into each of my creation and treat each order as if I was baking and decorating it for my loved ones. Each design is made with great passion for what I love to do. I take in a limited amount of orders each week and because of that, I have extra time to spend on making your cake really special.

I will work with you to ensure you get the result you are after and will do my best to add value in any way I can. Whether it'd be through design consultations, custom flavourings or exclusive designs you'll be guaranteed to have something that is truly stands out and is unique.

How do I store my creation?

Do not put your creation in the fridge. Creations should be kept in a cool area away from direct sunlight and moisture.

Can I keep the sugar decorations?

Yes, again, just keep it in a cool dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight.

How is my creation packaged?

Most creations will be packaged in an open box but if it's too big, we will inform you that there will be no box.

If you are picking up your creation, it is your responsibility to organise transport with enough space to place your creation.
